2023 is the Lunar Year of the Water Rabbit, It is predicted to be a year of hope and harmony. I painted this with the mindset of manifesting a new year of prosperity, peace, and good fortune. The rabbit symbolizes patience and luck, so each mark in this painting is infused with wishes to call forward a future abundantly flowing with the rabbit's peaceful, positive energy and good luck. In every movement, I was aware that all the preparations we have made in the past--all the experimentation, lessons, practice, perseverance, have all prepared us to leap into the future with optimism for a year of abundance .
